Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using NileYachts.com (the "Website") and our yacht rental services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Website or use our Services.

Service Description

NileYachts operates as a marketplace connecting customers with luxury yacht owners and operators in Cairo and Giza, Egypt. We facilitate yacht rentals for various purposes including weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and tourism experiences on the Nile River.

Important: NileYachts acts as a directory and booking facilitator. The actual yacht rental services are provided by independent yacht owners and operators listed on our platform.

Booking Process

Inquiries and Quotes

• All bookings begin with an inquiry through our contact forms, email, or phone
• We will provide a customized quote based on your requirements
• Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise specified
• Prices may vary based on date, duration, yacht selection, and additional services

Confirmation and Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit (typically 30-50% of total cost)
• Full payment is due 7 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed
• Accepted payment methods will be specified in your booking confirmation
• All prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations

• 30+ days before event: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 15-29 days before event: 50% refund of total payment
• 7-14 days before event: 25% refund of total payment
• Less than 7 days: No refund

Weather-Related Cancellations

In case of severe weather conditions that make cruising unsafe (as determined by yacht operators), customers may:

• Reschedule to an alternative date without penalty
• Receive a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

Operator Cancellations

If a yacht becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer:

• An alternative yacht of equal or higher quality
• A full refund if no suitable alternative is available

Customer Responsibilities

Behavior and Conduct

• Treat yacht crew and property with respect
• Follow all safety instructions provided by the crew
• Do not bring illegal substances or prohibited items
• Comply with Egyptian laws and maritime regulations
• Keep noise levels reasonable and respect other river users

Guest Count and Changes

• Guest count must be confirmed 48 hours before the event
• Exceeding maximum capacity is strictly prohibited for safety reasons
• Last-minute guest additions may incur additional charges

Damage and Liability

• Customers are responsible for any damage to yacht property
• A damage deposit may be required and will be refunded if no damage occurs
• Intentional damage may result in legal action and additional fees

Yacht Owner/Operator Responsibilities

Yacht owners and operators listed on NileYachts are responsible for:

• Maintaining yachts in safe, clean, and operational condition
• Providing trained and professional crew members
• Having proper insurance and licenses
• Complying with all maritime safety regulations
• Honoring confirmed bookings unless extraordinary circumstances arise

Limitation of Liability

NileYachts acts as a facilitator between customers and yacht operators. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses during yacht rentals
• Yacht operators maintain their own insurance and liability coverage
• Customers assume risks inherent in water-based activities
• We recommend customers obtain appropriate travel and event insurance
• Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our facilitation services

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, extreme weather
• Government restrictions or regulations
• Acts of war, terrorism, or civil unrest
• Public health emergencies

Intellectual Property

All content on NileYachts.com, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be:

• First attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation
• Subject to mediation if negotiation fails
• Governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt
• Subject to the jurisdiction of Egyptian courts

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
